The truth behind the quiet …

ASHLEY WILSON FELLERS

If you’ve been reading my words for awhile, you may have noticed a quiet here, building.  It’s not that I haven’t been posting; it’s just that I haven’t been saying very much.

This is a tell:  it’s something I always do before I’m about to speak.

… A little intake of breath, I suppose.

Tomorrow, I’m going to reveal a new project to you.  It’s a simple one, but like all of my projects, it’s going to require some vulnerability from me.

Honest words?  Sharing myself in this space — my body and my story — has always been hard for me, but it’s been a little harder than usual lately.  There are more readers here than there used to be, and in recent months, a few of them have paid me more attention than I was entirely comfortable with.  It’s taken me a little while to get…

How Can Becoming a Dream Big Partner Help Your Page?

Dream Big, Dream Often

always dream big orlando espinosa

So here is what I am proposing for those interested in deepening their relationship with Dream Big and the community.  For a partnership you will receive 3 levels of exposure for your page: a clickable 200 x 200 logo in my sidebar, a link listing in my Partners Featured Bloggers segment once per week and your blog logo (200 x 200) linking to your page from a page header titled “Dream Big Partners.”

A partnership will entitle you to 3 months (90 days) of exposure on my page in all 3 areas.  Along with these benefits I will encourage my readers to visit partners’ pages and will throw in the occasional reblog (when subject and timing is appropriate).  This will be an extension of the work I have been doing for the last 1 1/2 years of helping to promote other’s pages, but this will be the first time I…

The Window of the Lighthouse

Rivers Renewed

Vacation 248

Through the window of the lighthouse,

you can see the strength,

the unyielding soul born to fight,

and that there is hope.

The light still works,

in the daytime,

calling us to rest,

to receive the calm of the ocean,

and to let go.

The window is to bring in,

the greater light,

and to reveal the end of the storm,

to say the words of peace,

to the heart of a seagull.

Trust the power,

of light being revealed,

in the strength of a rock,

bringing service,

and compassion to people.

Look through the window.

Blessings to everyone and peace!

Poems for you

Roses are red,

Violets are blue

The way you said

You love me

Makes me want to say

I love you too!

Roses are red

Violets are blue

I said, I like you

But you loved her

So, this is me

Crying over you

Roses are red

Violets are blue

I now buried my feelings for you.

But you came back

Saying you love me too

Roses are red

Violets are blue

I am so stupid

Believing in you
